Kurdistan Region President hails successful conclusion of parliamentary elections

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – In a statement issued by the Kurdistan Region Presidency on Monday, Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, congratulated the people of Kurdistan and all political parties for their successful participation in the recently concluded parliamentary elections. The president emphasized that the elections marked a significant milestone in the region's democratic progress and were a testament to the collective efforts of all involved.
Highlighting the peaceful and smooth execution of the electoral process, the president praised the dedication of political parties in ensuring that the elections were held efficiently and without incident. "The real winners of this achievement are the people of Kurdistan," he said, noting the active participation of citizens in selecting their parliamentary representatives.
The elections were aimed at reaffirming the legitimacy of Kurdistan's institutions, allowing citizens to freely express their opinions through the ballot.
