Germany's new Consul General pledges enhanced relations with Kurdistan Region during meeting with PM Masrour Barzani

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Germany's new Consul General to the Kurdistan Region, Albrecht von Wittke, on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Barzani extended his congratulations to the new Consul General and reaffirmed the Kurdistan Regional Government's support for the German diplomatic mission, wishing him success in his duties.
The German Consul General expressed his country's readiness to further develop relations with the Kurdistan Region.
The discussion also addressed the recent successful Kurdistan parliamentary elections, which were conducted in a peaceful and democratic atmosphere despite some technical issues that prevented a significant number of voters from exercising their right to vote.
