ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – According to the announcement made by the Iraqi air force, last night, October 22nd, 2024, the Iraqi warplanes bombed several bases of ISIS in the area of ​​Jabal Bori in Kirkuk province. 

The security sources emphasized that ISIS used those bases to hide and create a threat to the security and stability of Kirkuk.

The Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stated on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, the wali of Iraq and eight other senior leaders of the terrorist organization of ISIS were killed in the Hamrin Mountain in the south of Kirkuk.

The Iraqi Prime Minister hailed the security force for the air strike, described it as the unique and heroic operation by the counter-terrorism and national security agencies under the supervision of the joint operations.
