Reflecting on the challenges ahead, Barzani reaffirmed his government’s dedication to progress, highlighting initiatives in key sectors such as banking, financial services, electricity, and agriculture. He pointed to the success of the KRG’s financial inclusion program MyAccount, which has already seen nearly 700,000 government employees register for bank accounts, boosting local market credit and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Barzani also outlined the government's progress in delivering 24/7 electricity through the Runaki project, with uninterrupted power now available to over 50,000 citizens and plans for further expansion. He reiterated Kurdistan’s ambition to become a major agricultural hub in the Middle East and called on graduates to contribute to improving yields, sourcing new markets, and increasing efficiency.
In a message of unity, Barzani called on political rivals to collaborate in rebuilding and revitalizing the region.
