ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - The General Directorate of Meteorology and Seismology has issued a 48-hour weather forecast for the Kurdistan Region, predicting significant rainfall and cooler temperatures.

For Saturday, the forecast indicates cloudy conditions with light to moderate rainfall across various locations, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms.

Sunday's forecast predicts heavy morning rainfall in Erbil, Kirkuk, Sulaimani, Halabja, and the Raparin administration areas, with precipitation continuing at a lighter rate through the afternoon and evening hours.
