KDP President Barzani receives outgoing Iranian Consul General

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – President Masoud Barzani received Nasrollah Rashnoudi, the outgoing Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil, in a farewell meeting at his office in Pirmam on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024.

According to a statement released by the Barzani Headquarters, the meeting focused on the current political situation in Iraq and the broader region.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to developing relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, President Barzani expressed his gratitude to the Iranian Consul General and wished him success in his future endeavors.
