Other belongings of the fish poacher.

Illegal fishing practices have been an ongoing concern in the Kurdistan Region, particularly in areas around major waterways like the Lesser Zab River.

The use of electrical equipment, explosives, and poison for fishing not only violates local environmental laws but also poses significant risks to the aquatic ecosystem and biodiversity of the region.

The Forestry and Environmental Police regularly conduct patrols to combat such illegal activities and protect the region's natural resources.
