Rain, snow expected across Kurdistan Region with temperature drop
Duhok province's mountainous areas will see light rainfall tonight; parts of the Independent Soran Administration and nearby border regions will also experience rainfall. Thunderstorms and lightning are possible in Sulaimani & Garmian areas.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - The Kurdistan Region's Ministry of Transportation and Communications has issued its 48-hour weather forecast for Monday, predicting partly to fully cloudy conditions with various precipitation patterns across the region.
According to the meteorological department, Duhok province's mountainous areas will experience light rainfall, with effects extending to parts of the Independent Soran Administration area and mountainous regions, particularly in border areas, during nighttime hours.
These elevated areas are also expected to receive light snowfall.
The forecast indicates a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in southern Sulaimani city and the Independent Garmian Administration area. Temperatures are expected to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius today.
For Tuesday, Nov. 19, light rainfall is predicted in the eastern border mountainous areas and Halabja province, with temperatures dropping further by 3-4 degrees Celsius compared to Monday.
