ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) will meet in Sulaimani on Saturday to finalize agreements on the formation of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) tenth cabinet, ahead of the first session of the Kurdistan Region Parliament’s sixth term.
The meeting comes as Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani officially decreed the opening session of the new parliamentary term to take place on December 2 at 11:00 AM. Dilshad Shahab, spokesperson for the Kurdistan Region Presidency, announced the decree during a press conference on Tuesday.
