Iraqi parliament holds meeting in presence of PM Al-Sudani

The Iraqi parliament will confer on the second reading regarding the first amendment on the proposal number (13) year 2023 of the total budget in the country for 2023-2024-2025, which has been submitted by the Finance Committee.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – It is set by the Iraqi Parliament to hold a debate on Wednesday, at 13:00 (Baghdad local time), where the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani attends too, to make readings and vote on bills.

According to its agenda, the Iraqi Parliament hosts the P.M. Al-Sudani, and one of the proposals will be to vote on Article (36), which is about the National Intelligence Service, the bill is presented by the Iraqi Committee of Security and Defense.

Another debate in the meeting is to vote on the first amendment to Article (5) of the Passport Law (No. 32) year 2015. 

The Iraqi parliament will confer on the second reading regarding the first amendment on the proposal number (13) year 2023 of the total budget in the country for 2023-2024-2025, which has been submitted by the Finance Committee.

It is decided that the last part of the meeting, will be the second reading on the fifth amendment to the Civil Aviation Bill No. (14) year 1974, submitted by the Committee of Transportation and Communications.

Due to postponing and rearranging debates by the Iraqi parliament, otherwise earlier of this month, the Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Shakhawan Abdulla, exclusively, stated to Kurdistan 24, the would be a second reading for the Total Budget in Iraqi parliament debate on Monday, Dec. 2nd, 2024.
