Turkish Amb. congratulates PM Masrour Barzani for Kurdistan Parliament's first session

The Turkish Ambassador congratulated the Premier for winning the parliamentary general elections as well as holding the first session of the sixth round of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament on December 2nd, 2024.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Turkey Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan was welcomed by the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), the Turkish Consul General in Erbil, Erman Topçu as well as other official seniors attended the meeting too, on Thursday.

In the meeting, the discussion was about enhancing and progressing of the bilateral relations between the two states, as well as the latest incidents and changes in the wider region, in general and specifically in Iraq, covered.

The Turkish Ambassador congratulated the Premier for winning the parliamentary general elections as well as holding the first session of the sixth round of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament on December 2nd, 2024.

Both sides agreed on the importance and necessity to speed up forming a new government cabinet for the Kurdistan Region, the war in Syria and the need to maintain security and stability in the region were highlighted alongside the other issues in the wider region.
