ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - On Monday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) issued a statement regarding the recent Turkish drone strike in Ain Issa region in Northern Raqqa.

The drone strike, according to the SOHR statement, has claimed the lives of 11 inhabitants, 6 of whom are children. All victims belong to the same family.

The strike targeted a house in al-Mustariha village in the suburbs of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa.

Ain Issa is part of the territories controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF - Hêzên Sûriya Demokratîk).

According to the statement by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), since the start of 2024, Turkish drones have carried out 191 strikes against the territories controlled by SDF and Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).

The civilian toll of these airstrikes has reached 55.
