Dutch Minister of Defence, Ruben Brekelmans arrives in Erbil

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)'s Minister of Peshmerga Affairs, Shorsh Ismail welcomed the Minister of Defence from the Netherlands, Ruben Brekelmans who arrived in Erbil, on Monday.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)'s Minister of Peshmerga Affairs, Shorsh Ismail welcomed the Minister of Defence from the Netherlands, Ruben Brekelmans who arrived in Erbil, on Monday. 

The Dutch Defense Minister is scheduled to meet with Kurdistan Regional Government official seniors as well as to visit his country's military consultants, advisors and soldiers in Kurdistan Region. 

The Netherlands has been an active member of the international coalition forces against the terrorist organization ISIS, since 2014 provided assistance and training to the Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan.
