ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The newly appointed Foreign Minister by the new Syrian Government, Asaad Shaibani posted a warning message to Iran, through his official account on X platform, just before the midnight of Tuesday, December 24th, 2024, stating "Iran must respect the will of Syrian people, as well as the sovereignty and safety of Syria country, and we warn them of creating any chaos in Syria and we will also hold them accountable for the consequences from their recent statements"

It is believed that such message is a response to a speech by the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, when in his speech he called on youth Syrians to stand against and confront those who set up as well as who carried out the security and changes happened, in Syria, since December 8th, 2024.
Last Sunday, December 22n, 2024, the Supreme Leader of Iran delivered a sermon, that was televised, saying "we expect the incidents in Syria to lead to create a group of honorable and strong people because the Syrian youth have nothing to lose, their schools, universities, homes and streets are not safe,"
According to the news agencies sources, the Iranian Vice President as well as former Foreign Minister warned of "outbreak of an inclusive civil war in Syria," through an initiative they bid forward for dialogue between the countries of the greater region, including the new Syrian Government.
