Iraq's Prime Minister to visit Iran within two weeks

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - On Monday, a source from Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani's office stated that the Prime Minister will visit Iran within the next two weeks.

The current situation in Syria is said to be a key focus of the discussions.

According to the information, al-Sudani will discuss the Syrian situation and general regional developments with Iran's President and Supreme Leader.

The Prime Minister's last visit to Iran was on May 22,2024, when he attended the mourning ceremony for Iran's late President Ibrahim Raisi.

This scheduled visit comes amid momentous regional developments.
