Coalition aid to Peshmerga to be distributed Wednesday
According to a statement from the Ministry of Peshmerga, the coalition's aid had been transferred to the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Ministry of Peshmerga's account, enabling the timely distribution of funds.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Ministry of Peshmerga announced on Tuesday that financial aid from coalition forces for December 2024 will be distributed to Peshmerga forces on Wednesday, following the completion of financial and accounting procedures by the General Directorate of Budget and Programs.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Peshmerga, the coalition's aid had been transferred to the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Ministry of Peshmerga's account, enabling the timely distribution of funds.
Currently, 37,730 Peshmerga members and officers are receiving assistance through the MyAccount initiative, a significant step in modernizing the ministry's financial processes. The statement highlighted that while the majority of Peshmerga forces benefit from the MyAccount initiative, additional personnel will receive their aid through the banking system.
The Ministry of Peshmerga emphasized the importance of the coalition's support in enhancing the welfare of the Peshmerga forces and expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation.
