KRG Council of Ministers to hold emergency meeting on Saturday, discussing financial entitlements

Later, the spokesperson revealed to Kurdistan24 that tomorrow's meeting will discuss withdrawal from Baghdad.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24)—Kurdistan Region Government (KRG) Spokesperson Peshawa Hawramani announced on Friday that the KRG Council of Ministers will hold an emergency meeting on Saturday at 10 a.m., attended by Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, the head of the Kurdistan Region political factions in both the Iraqi and Kurdistan Region parliaments, and representatives of political parties in the region.

Later, the spokesperson revealed to Kurdistan24 that tomorrow's meeting will discuss withdrawal from Baghdad.

He also said that another topic of discussion will be the Kurdistan Region civil servant salaries and financial entitlements of the Kurdistan Region. 

Prime Minister Barzani chaired a meeting of the KRG Council of Ministers on Wednesday to address key economic and political issues. The discussions centered on regional stability and resolving disputes between the Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi government, focusing on resuming oil exports from the Kurdistan Region.
