ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - On Monday, Dr. Hamid Darbandi, the Kurdistan Region's Special Representative for Syrian Kurdish Affairs and President Masoud Barzani's envoy continued his diplomatic mission in Rojava (Western Kurdistan) with a crucial meeting with the Kurdish National Council in Syria (KNCS or also known as ENKS) in Qamishli, following his earlier meeting with SDF Commander Mazloum Abdi in Hasaka.
Dr. Darbandi met with ENKS President Mohammed Ismail and the council's leadership at their headquarters, furthering President Barzani's diplomatic initiative to strengthen Kurdish unity in Syria.
This sequential diplomatic engagement with both the SDF and ENKS leadership validates the Kurdistan Region's continuous attempts to bridge differences between major Kurdish political entities in Syria.
