KRG PM Masrour Barzani Heads to UAE for World Governments Summit

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has departed for the United Arab Emirates to attend the World Governments Summit, set to take place in Dubai from February 11 to 13.
On the sidelines of the summit, Prime Minister Barzani is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with global leaders and senior officials. These discussions will focus on strengthening ties between the Kurdistan Region and participating countries, expanding cooperation in key sectors such as economy, investment, trade, and development, and addressing the latest political developments in Iraq and the wider region.
The KRG delegation’s participation underscores the Prime Minister’s ongoing commitment to engaging in international forums and fostering the Kurdistan Region’s role as a proactive and reliable partner on the global stage.
In 2025, the World Governments Summit will convene under the theme "Shaping Future Governments." Bringing together governments, international organizations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders from around the world, the Summit aims to foster global cooperation, explore innovative solutions to future challenges, and inspire the next generation of governance.
