Putin Meets Kurdish Investor in the Kremlin

The Regions Group, owned by Mutsoyev’s family, is one of Russia’s largest construction and real estate development companies, according to the Kremlin spokesperson.

ERBIL(Kurdistan24) – Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Kurdish businessman Amiran Mutsoyev on Tuesday, at the Kremlin. The meeting highlighted Mutsoyev’s extensive investments in Russia’s real estate and luxury development sector.

Major Investments in Russia’s Construction Industry

According to Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, the Regions Group, owned by Mutsoyev’s family, is one of Russia’s largest construction and real estate development companies. The firm has undertaken high-profile luxury projects in Moscow and other parts of the country, including residential complexes, leisure facilities, and entertainment hubs.

A Prominent Kurdish Businessman in Russia

Amiran Mutsoyev, the son of prominent Kurdish politician Zelimkhan Mutsoyev, is a member of the Russian State Duma. His family's business empire includes major development projects such as Dream Island, Oceanarium, and the Ferris Wheel in Moscow’s VDNKh Park—among the largest entertainment and tourism projects in Russia and Europe.

Putin’s Support for Strategic Economic Development

The meeting between Putin and Mutsoyev is part of a strategy to strengthen economic growth and expand real estate investments in Russia. 

The Russian president has previously attended inaugurations of large-scale projects developed by Regions Group, underscoring the company’s role in shaping the country’s urban infrastructure and luxury tourism sector.
