ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani reaffirmed his government's commitment to supporting peace efforts in Turkey. In a statement shared on Thursday, he expressed readiness to assist in ensuring the success of Turkey’s peace process.

Earlier, imprisoned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) leader Abdulla Ocalan called for the disarmament of the PKK in a message delivered by veteran Kurdish politician Ahmet Türk—a move seen as a potential step toward ending long-standing conflicts.

Prime Minister Barzani reiterated his support for peaceful solutions to regional challenges, emphasizing the Kurdistan Region's long-standing role in promoting peace and security.

"I welcome and support any attempt to resolve the issues in the region peacefully," he stated.
