Turkish Energy Minister arrives in Erbil for official talks
During his visit, Minister Bayraktar is scheduled to meet with senior officials from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to discuss key issues and opportunities for collaboration in the energy sector, as well as other areas of mutual interest.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, accompanied by the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq and a high-level delegation, arrived in Erbil on Sunday for an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation in energy and natural resources.
Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Kamal Mohammad, Acting Minister of Electricity and Natural Resources; Safeen Dizayee, Head of the KRG Department of Foreign Relations; and Hoshang Ahmad, Director of Regional Relations with Turkey. The visit marks a significant step towards furthering ties between Turkey and the Kurdistan Region.
