PM Barzani Attends Diplomatic Football Tournament Final

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani attended the final match of the Diplomatic Football Tournament on Wednesday evening, underscoring the government's commitment to fostering international friendship and cooperation through sports.
The tournament, organized by the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Department of Foreign Relations, featured teams representing diplomatic missions. The final match saw a spirited game between teams from Turkey and Jordan.
In a display of skill and sportsmanship, the Turkish team claimed the championship title.
This year's tournament featured 14 consulate teams, along with representatives from United Nations agencies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Relations.
The event served as an opportunity to strengthen diplomatic ties in a relaxed and friendly setting, bringing together representatives from across the region and beyond.
Prime Minister Barzani’s presence at the final match highlighted the KRG’s support for cultural diplomacy and people-to-people engagement initiatives.
