ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Air raid sirens are sounding across Israel as the Israeli military confirms that Iran has launched a new wave of missiles, escalating an already volatile conflict with fears of a broader regional war.

This latest barrage marks the third round of missile attacks from Iran since Israeli airstrikes devastated multiple Iranian nuclear and military facilities on Friday, killing top commanders and nuclear scientists.

Civilians across Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, have been urged to seek immediate shelter.

Iran’s Tasnim News Agency has reported that another wave of missile strikes has been launched against Israel.

This comes about an hour after an unnamed Iranian official told CNN that his country would intensify its missile attacks on Israel.

The official stated that the strikes are Tehran’s legitimate response to Israel’s excessive aggression, referring to the Israeli attacks carried out on ten Iranian locations early Friday morning.

He also warned that any base or country in the region that supports or assists Israel will be considered a legitimate target for Iran’s missile strikes.

Tensions have continued to rise rapidly following the initial Israeli strikes and Iran’s subsequent retaliatory missile attacks. This ongoing escalation raises grave concerns of a potential full-scale regional conflict, drawing in both state and non-state actors.

Kurdistan24 will continue to monitor and provide updates as the situation develops.
