ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Coalition forces intercepted and shot down two drones over Erbil province on Tuesday, according to security sources.
The first drone was brought down over Mastawa village, followed shortly by a second drone over Pirdawd village. No casualties or material damage were reported.
Security forces have reached both crash sites and are conducting investigations into the origin and intent of the drones.
The incident follows the downing of another drone in Erbil early Monday morning, bringing the total to three drones shot down in the past two days.
