President Barzani Bids Farewell to Jordan’s Outgoing Consul General
The Jordanian diplomat expressed his gratitude to President Barzani for his pivotal role in fostering close ties between the two sides and in promoting peace and stability across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – President Masoud Barzani on Tuesday received the outgoing Consul General of the Kingdom of Jordan, Fuad Khazer al-Majali, in Erbil’s Pirmam district, in a meeting that highlighted the growing friendship between the Kurdistan Region and Jordan.
According to a statement from Barzani Headquarters, the Jordanian diplomat expressed his gratitude to President Barzani for his pivotal role in fostering close ties between the two sides and in promoting peace and stability across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
President Barzani, in turn, praised Consul General al-Majali’s contributions during his tenure and thanked him for his efforts in deepening bilateral cooperation. He wished the outgoing envoy continued success in his future diplomatic service.
The meeting underscored the strong and enduring partnership between the Kurdistan Region and the Kingdom of Jordan.
