ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – President Masoud Barzani received Italian Consul General Tommaso Sansone in Erbil's Pirmam district on Sunday, according to a statement from Barzani Headquarters.
President Barzani emphasized the Kurdistan Region's strong commitment to its relationship with Italy, expressing gratitude for the support of the Italian government and people. He acknowledged Italy's crucial role in assisting the Kurdistan Region in its fight against ISIS and affirmed that this support will not be forgotten.
In response, Consul General Sansone reiterated the commitment of the Italian government and people to the Kurdistan Region and the development of bilateral relations across various sectors.
