ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - Kurdistan Region's Prime Minister Masrour Barzani officially opened the Seventh International Real Estate Investment Exhibition in Erbil on Wednesday launching a four-day event that has drawn nearly 300 local and international companies from 12 countries to Sami Abdul Rahman Park, in the latest demonstration of the Kurdistan Region's growing appeal as a destination for regional and global real estate investment.

The exhibition, organized by Invest Expo Company with the direct support of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Board of Investment, formally opened its doors to citizens and investors on Wednesday and will continue for four days within the exhibition halls of Sami Abdul Rahman Park. The event places Erbil once again at the center of investor attention across the region and the world, projecting a stronger image of the Kurdistan Region's economic development and investment environment.

The participation of nearly 300 domestic and international companies from 12 different countries is described by organizers as a clear signal of the international market's confidence in the stability and investment climate of the Kurdistan Region. The breadth of the brands and economic entities represented reflects an investment community that views the Kurdistan Region as a viable and attractive destination despite the regional volatility generated by the six-month US-Iran conflict.

Throughout the four days of the exhibition, citizens and investors will have a direct opportunity to benefit from special offers and discounts, with the event designed to stimulate movement in the real estate market and facilitate home ownership for hundreds of families.

The scale of the Kurdistan Region's real estate sector provides the backdrop against which the exhibition's significance can be understood. According to available statistics, more than 70,000 real estate offices operate across the Kurdistan Region, of which 7,500 are located in Erbil alone. Hundreds of property buying and selling transactions are completed through those offices every single day, making real estate one of the most active and commercially significant sectors of the Region's economy.

The Seventh International Real Estate Investment Exhibition follows a series of successful previous editions that have established Erbil's annual property showcase as one of the most significant real estate events in the broader Middle East and Gulf investment calendar, attracting developers, investors, and buyers from across Iraq and the region who view the Kurdistan Region's combination of political stability, infrastructure development, and growing urban population as a compelling long-term investment case.
