ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Sunday received Croatia's Ambassador to Iraq, Ivan Jurić, for talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging views on developments in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the wider region.
During the Oct. 4 meeting, Prime Minister Barzani highlighted what he described as the longstanding friendship and relations between the Kurdistan Region and Croatia.
He stressed the importance of further strengthening ties between the two sides and continuing efforts to deepen their bilateral relationship.
Ambassador Jurić, for his part, reaffirmed Croatia's interest in developing relations with the Kurdistan Region across various fields.
The meeting reflected a shared willingness to maintain and expand engagement between Erbil and Zagreb, while also providing an opportunity to discuss current political and regional developments.
The talks came as the Kurdistan Region continues to maintain relations with a range of international partners through diplomatic engagement and meetings with foreign representatives based in Iraq.
