Two Explosive-Laden Drones Crash Near Refugee Camp in Erbil Province

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Two explosive-laden drones crashed near the Eastern Kurdish Refugee Camp in Kawrgosk, in Erbil province’s Khabat district, on Thursday night, with no casualties reported, according to local authorities and Kurdistan24’s correspondent.
The Kurdistan Region Directorate General of Counter Terrorism (CTD) said that the camp was targeted by two explosive-laden drones at 10:19 p.m.
Earlier, Kurdistan24’s correspondent said that the sounds heard in the area were caused by two drones crashing.
Hersh Said, director of the Khabat Health Department, told Kurdistan24 that no casualties had been reported following the incident. He added that the drones had fallen in an uninhabited area.
