Türkiye’s Consul General Praises Kurdistan24’s Standing at 11 Years

ERBIL (Kurdistasn24) - Türkiye’s Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, Erman Topçu, praised Kurdistan24’s standing and position on the 11th anniversary of its broadcast launch on Saturday. He said the channel has a large audience inside and outside Iraq.

Topçu said on Saturday, that as a diplomat he closely follows the channels’ broadcasts. He said he deeply appreciates Kurdistan24’s airing of news and statements by his country’s leaders in Turkish.

“I congratulate all the viewers, staff and employees on the anniversary of Kurdistan24’s founding. We appreciate your channel and regard it with importance, because it has a large audience inside and outside Iraq,” the consul general said.

“As diplomats here, we are viewers of the channels. I find it very important that Kurdistan24 publishes news and statements by our leaders, and events and occasions in Türkiye, in Turkish. That is why we appreciate Kurdistan24,” he said.

Topçu also expressed hope that Türkiye’s relations with the Kurdistan Region will grow stronger in the future, with more visits and talks between the two sides.
