ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a stern warning to the United States and Israel on Tuesday, saying it is fully prepared to answer any aggression immediately, effectively, and without geographic limits. Other senior Iranian officials spoke the same day on the Strait of Hormuz, US-Iran talks, and the country’s energy crisis.

In a statement, the Revolutionary Guard said it is on full alert on the orders of the Supreme Leader. It sharply criticized Washington’s policies, saying historical documents have proved that, from the American perspective, diplomacy is only a cover for infiltration, deception, and domination over Iran.

The Guard accused Washington of still working in the same hostile manner to topple the government and “fragment Iran’s territory.”

The Guard stressed that it is carrying out the orders of Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. “All instructions and orders of the General Command of the Armed Forces to achieve the highest level of retaliation are on our agenda,” it said.

“In coordination with all the armed forces, we will not hesitate for a moment in carrying them out. We now have complete combat readiness, we have updated our bank of targets, and we have placed all of our enemy’s material and non-material assets and interests within range of our fire.”

Another part of the statement said Iran’s response to any level of threat will be immediate and firm, and will not be bound by any geographic limit.

The Guard also said the US and Israel, after their failures in earlier military confrontations, have become desperate for fear of the Iranian army’s readiness and have turned to psychological and media warfare.

Echoing the Supreme Leader’s remarks, the Guard added: “The combatants and defenders of the homeland have a steel will to confront.

As the General Command has declared, the timing and conditions for ending any enemy attack or war will be determined only by the armed forces and the Iranian people.”

Hormuz: Tehran demands answers on seven conditions

Separately, Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said via the platform X that the US response to Iran’s demands was unsatisfactory.

“The US must answer Iran’s seven conditions fully and clearly, and work to implement them,” he said. He stressed that this step is the only way to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said an end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, is a fundamental condition for any agreement.

He said Qatar is continuing its mediation efforts and relaying the views of Iran and the US. Baghaei also reiterated that the return of security to the region is not possible until Iran’s demands are met.

The remarks come as concern grows over the resumption of fighting. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Nov. 3 that a renewed war between the US and Iran is not in the interest of any side, as intensive diplomatic efforts continue to prevent escalation in the Middle East.

A source familiar with the US-Iran talks, who asked not to be named, told Reuters that Qatari mediators expect to receive responses from both sides within the next 36 hours on a new proposal to advance the negotiations.

US President Donald Trump confirmed on Nov. 3 that the US struck air defense equipment on Iran’s Qeshm island. The strike followed reports of an attack on the island, which lies in the Strait of Hormuz, on Monday night.

In recent weeks, Trump had pointed to the possibility of resuming attacks on Iran, with US midterm congressional elections taking place on Nov. 3. The US president said on Monday that his thinking on the matter may change.

Pezeshkian: Energy cuts to industry would lead to disaster

Meeting provincial governors and officials, Pezeshkian sent a stern message to the US and Tehran’s adversaries. He said that even if thousands of people like him were killed, opponents could not force the Iranian people to kneel if the people stand with the government.

He also warned of a collapse of the country’s production sector.

Addressing governors, mayors, and commanders, Pezeshkian focused on US threats and the country’s difficult economic situation amid an energy crisis and security threats.

“Let them come and assassinate me, or kill thousands like me. If the people are with us, they can do nothing against this country,” he said.

“We must show the people in action that we have not come to be their masters, but to serve them. We cannot sit in large, comfortable rooms and waste energy improperly, and then tell people to conserve resources and energy.”

The Iranian president warned of the disastrous consequences of cutting electricity and gas to the production sector. If a factory closes for lack of gas and power, he said, workers lose their jobs, unemployment drives up prices and inflation, and absolute poverty follows.

“How much financial aid can we distribute? If people have no work or production, it is useless,” he said. “We must let producers stand on their own feet rather than collapse under an energy crisis.”

Pezeshkian added: “Even if necessary, we should close cultural and secondary centers and give their electricity to the industrial sector so the wheel of production does not stop. We must do it. This step would have a far greater social impact than thousands of speeches and propaganda without action.”

He called on provincial officials, municipalities, Friday prayer leaders, and the Revolutionary Guard to take control of energy use locally so industry is not disrupted.

“So that gas and electricity are not cut from production, I myself am ready to cut the power to my room and turn off my heater, but I will never allow the heat and movement of the production sector to stop,” he said.

The Iranian president indicated that only by protecting factories and coordinating with the people can the government regain public trust and stop the US and its allies from imagining they can force the Iranian people into surrender through economic and military pressure.
