Issa Hassan

Issa Hassan is the Washington, D.C.–based correspondent for Kurdistan24, a role he has held since 2022. He reports on U.S. foreign policy and domestic affairs, with additional focus on Kurdish diaspora communities across the United States, highlighting their contributions and success stories. He regularly covers official briefings at the U.S. State Department and the Pentagon.

Prior to joining Kurdistan24, Issa worked as a news producer at Rudaw Media Network. He has also published analytical articles in several outlets, including Kurdistan Tribune, KurdNet, and other outlets.
