PM Barzani arrives in Brussels for start of visit focusing on bilateral ties

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani arrived in the Belgian capital on Wednesday as part of an official visit to the European country, according to his office.

Barzani is accompanied by a delegation from the Kurdistan Regional Government, including the minister of planning and housing, Dara Rashid, along with Safeen Dizayee, head of the region's foreign relations department.

The Kurdish premier is expected to meet top Belgian officials to strengthen Erbil-Brussels relations, and to discuss the continued support and coordination of the international coalition against ISIS with the region's Peshmerga forces.
