Lebanese Minister of Justice arrives in Erbil after Baghdad visit

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Lebanese Minister of Justice, Henry Khoury, arrived Sunday evening in Erbil after a brief visit to Baghdad, during which he met with several senior Iraqi officials.

Khoury was invited to Iraq to participate in a commemoration event for Iraqi Judiciary Day, held on Jan. 22, with many judicial and diplomatic figures present.

The Lebanese minister arrived Sunday evening at the Erbil International Airport, where he was received by Kurdistan Region Minister of Justice Firsat Ahmed Abdullah.

He is later scheduled to meet top Kurdistan Region officials to discuss several files of common interest.
