ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Kurdistan Region’s capital Erbil on Monday, Valentine’s Day, will host a concert for renowned Lebanese singer Assi El Hallani and Iraqi singer Rahma Riad.
The two famed singers arrived in the Kurdish capital on Saturday for their duet concert. It will be held in White Hall Erbil in the Christian-majority suburb of Ankawa.

Tickets for the concert, priced between $150-500, are already sold out, El Hallani told Kurdistan 24.
“Erbil has become a main hub for Arab singers,” El Hallani told Kurdistan 24, hailing the beautiful nature of the capital and its tourist sites.
He thanked his fans and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) for organizing the event.
“It is delightful to see there is a government in the region that cares about art, tourism, intellectuals,” he said.
The 51-year-old singer said that he had decided to visit the city two days before the event to have time to tour its various tourist and cultural sites.
Rahma Riad, an Iraqi artist, plans to participate in the concert along with her Lebanese counterpart.
