Head of Erbil office of IHEC Marwan Mohammed held press conference
The coalition parties, political parties, individuals and quota seats can visit the office branches in Erbil, Duhok and Sulaimani to apply for the Kurdistan Region parliamentary election in September
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - After the announcement by the Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission IHEC, on Saturday, regarding the 6th round of Kurdistan Region parliamentary election that is to hold on September 05, 2024 and their formal request to Kurdistan Region presidency on running the parliamentary election in September.

In a press conference, the Head of the Erbil office of the IHEC Marwan Mohammed revealed the registration doors are now open to take on applications from all the political parties, coalitions, individuals and candidates who are interested to apply for the registration in the Kurdistan Region parliamentary election in September.
Marwan affirmed, the High Judge Board for election decided on the quota seats divided between the 3 cities Erbil, Duhok and Sulaimani. The process starts from Saturday till the June 13th.
He revealed the IHEC set the timetable of their work, and one of the IHEC’s actions was to open the registration door for the coalition parties, political parties, individuals and quota seats whom are interested to get registered for the Kurdistan parliamentary upcoming election.
He underscored that the coalition parties, political parties, individuals and quota seats can visit the office branches in these 3 cities, to apply if they are interested in registration to take part in the Kurdistan Region parliamentary election in September.
After the requests for the electoral registration, the following timetable work is to register and then to announce the candidates list.
