KDP President Masoud Barzani, Wasit Governor discuss stability in the region

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President Masoud Barzani on Saturday discussed stability in the region with Muhammad Jamil al-Mayahi, Governor of Wasit, and a delegation from the Wasit Ajmal Alliance, according to a statement from the Barzani Headquarters.
In the meeting, the political situation and obstacles to stability and development in Iraqi provinces were discussed.
Furthermore, the meeting emphasized the coordination and joint effort between the Kurdistan Region and Wasit province, as well as other Iraqi provinces, to ensure stability and development.
Al-Mayahi who was born in 1983 is one of the leaders of the National Wisdom Movement. The movement which is led by Ammar al-Hakim was founded in 2017 to participate in the 2018 general election.
