ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Ehsan Sheikhoun, representative of the International Cooperation Center of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on Sunday told the Iranian official news agency IRNA that “They intend to utilize their diplomatic capabilities to enhance scientific and technological endeavors. As part of this initiative, they plan to establish a center shortly in the Kurdistan Region.”
“They prioritize scientific diplomacy, utilizing scientific opportunities and capabilities to achieve foreign policy goals and national interests,” Sheikhoun stated.
He also said that the Kurdistan Region's approach to expanding relations is crucial, as it strives to promote cooperation and enhance political and economic ties within the region and beyond.
“Promoting this issue is one of the most important strategies for developing exports to the Kurdistan Region and expanding the gateway to send scientific and technological products to Iraq, the Western Gulf countries, Jordan, and Syria. The establishment of such a center plays a crucial role in promoting scientific interaction and technological advancement,” he added.
