ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The banking system in the Kurdistan Region has seen significant improvements under the ninth cabinet, with ongoing efforts to build advanced banking infrastructure in the Sidakan district of the Soran Independent Administration.

The new Sidakan Bank, which is being constructed at a cost of 1.4 billion dinars, is 95% complete. This development aims to strengthen the region's banking system and provide greater convenience to local citizens.

Ihsan Chalabi, the mayor of Sidakan district, highlighted the bank's importance to the media and information office of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

"The completion of the bank will provide a great service to the citizens of the district and save them a lot of time and expenses," Chalabi stated.
