ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — The Invest Expo 2026 International Exhibition concluded successfully after four days in the presence of Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and Mohammed Shukri, Chairman of the Kurdistan Region Board of Investment, recording more than 27,000 visitors and 684 purchase and sales contracts.
According to figures released by Invest Expo Company on Sunday, a total of 27,460 people visited the exhibition, while more than 1,000 businessmen, investors, and entrepreneurs participated in the event.
The exhibition brought together companies, investors, businesspeople, and citizens, serving as a major commercial and economic platform for showcasing investment opportunities and strengthening connections between businesses and potential investors.
A total of 684 purchase and sales contracts were signed during the four-day event, highlighting the scale of commercial activity generated by this year’s edition.
Invest Expo Company said the broad public and business reception for the 2026 exhibition reflects the continued growth of the investment sector and growing confidence in the Kurdistan Region’s market.
The company expressed its appreciation to participating companies, investors, visitors, and local and international media outlets, saying their participation and coverage contributed to the success of the event.
The scale of the exhibition also reflects the breadth of the Kurdistan Region’s real estate market. More than 70,000 real estate offices operate across the Region, including around 7,500 in Erbil, with hundreds of property transactions taking place through these offices every day.
The figures underscore the sector’s importance to economic activity and highlight the significance of major investment and property events in connecting developers, investors, and prospective buyers.
The four-day exhibition also provided citizens with access to special offers and discounts on properties, with organizers aiming to stimulate activity in the real estate market and facilitate home ownership for hundreds of families.
The event follows previous editions that have helped establish Erbil as a regional meeting point for real estate developers, investors, and buyers, while showcasing the Kurdistan Region’s expanding urban development and investment opportunities.
The successful conclusion of Invest Expo 2026 comes as the Kurdistan Region continues efforts to attract domestic and foreign investment, diversify its economy, and strengthen the role of the private sector in economic development.
