Kurdish music group Scurdia holds concert in Graz, Austria
The success of the event led to the decision to designate a special day for Kurdish and Austrian music.
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Kurdish music group Scurdia, led by the experienced Kurdish artist Rizgar Khoshnaw, held a concert in Graz, Austria, blending Kurdish and Austrian songs.
Khoshnaw, who has participated in several international music festivals across Europe, brought together Kurdish and foreign musicians for this performance.
The concert featured Kurdish Kavok and several other works that captivated the audience.
The success of the event led to the decision to designate a special day for Kurdish and Austrian music.
“Scurdia is not only a music group in this country, but it has become part of Austrian civilization and participates in all artistic, social, and political events with music,” Rizgar Khoshnaw told Kurdistan 24.
Following the success of their unique academic presentation last year, Scurdia decided to establish a day dedicated to Kurdish and Austrian music and to hold a series of artistic activities, especially concerts.
"In this group, we have tried to mix the art of both sides and serve our art in the most beautiful way," Khoshnaw added.
