It’s announced that the perpetrator created several pages on the social platforms, under the name of Govand Group (CTS) therefore to publish immoral and indecent, pornographic pictures, in addition to use this group to threat women, especially girls. In return for not posting their photos and videos if a large sum of money received and/ or handed over.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Erbil Police Service announced a statement on Wednesday, advising people to get in touch with the service’s emergency line (104), whenever facing a danger or a threat.

The police revealed a serious case of a lady who contacted their hotline, asking to be rescued from a man named "Luqman Mawlan Ismail" who threatened her.

After the investigation and taken the case seriously, police had referred it over to the judge at the Crime Court of Erbil, enclosing all evidences to the case, by law an arrest decision made against the perpetrator on January 1st, 2024.

“After searching his mobile phone (by law), we found that the offender Luqman threatened the victim and her cousin named -only initials- (H.F.S. and D.G.S). He had threatened them to post their indecent videos on the social network,” The police stated.

The police report disclosed further after an extensive investigation, many inappropriate photos and videos such as black magic, drugs, inappropriate and indecent photos, audio recordings and threats against other women were found in his mobile phone.
