KRG spokesperson highlights strategic achievements and resilience amid financial challenges
Hawramani pointed out that the cabinet has successfully executed major strategic projects across various cities, independent administrations, and districts in the Kurdistan Region.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has reaffirmed its commitment to serving all citizens of the Kurdistan Region without discrimination, according to spokesperson Peshawa Hawramani. During a press conference on Sunday, Hawramani outlined the government's achievements and emphasized the strategic approach taken by the current cabinet under Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.
Hawramani pointed out that the cabinet has successfully executed major strategic projects across various cities, independent administrations, and districts in the Kurdistan Region. "Significant changes have been introduced by this cabinet, and the positive impact on Kurdistan as a whole is evident," he stated. One of the key milestones, he noted, is the formulation of the region's first comprehensive water policy.
The spokesperson also highlighted the cabinet's distinct approach, noting its focus on large-scale strategic projects and robust infrastructure development. This approach, Hawramani said, sets this cabinet apart and reflects Prime Minister Barzani's vision for the region.
Investment has also seen a substantial boost, with the cabinet prioritizing the development of factories, agriculture, and industry. Hawramani emphasized that the government has avoided engaging in real estate transactions, instead channeling resources into sectors that would foster long-term economic growth.
Despite facing financial constraints and external pressures, the cabinet has remained resilient, Hawramani stressed. He asserted that the government has successfully implemented most of the objectives outlined in its program and that Prime Minister Barzani has fulfilled his promises to the people of Kurdistan during his term.
As the current administration nears the end of its tenure, the spokesperson's remarks underscore the government's efforts to build a stronger, more resilient Kurdistan through strategic planning and targeted investments.
