PM Barzani meets outgoing Indian Ambassador, highlights bilateral relations
Prime Minister Barzani expressed his gratitude for Ambassador Pise's efforts in strengthening bilateral relations between the two sides during his tenure.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Tuesday met with the outgoing Indian Ambassador to Iraq, Shri Prashant Pise, in a meeting that underscored the growing ties between the Kurdistan Region and India.
The meeting, held in Erbil, was also attended by Indian Consul General Madan Gopal. Prime Minister Barzani expressed his gratitude for Ambassador Pise's efforts in strengthening bilateral relations between the two sides during his tenure. He commended the ambassador's work and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Ambassador Pise, in turn, extended his appreciation to the KRG for its support and collaboration. He emphasized the importance of further enhancing relations between India and the Kurdistan Region, noting the potential for expanded cooperation in various sectors.
The meeting reflected both sides' commitment to deepening ties, particularly in areas of trade, education, and cultural exchange, as the Kurdistan Region continues to develop its international partnerships.
