Iraqi delegates chaired by Minister of Oil, Hayyan Abdul Ghani, to visit Kurdistan Region

Al-Dulaimi gave further details about the purpose of that visit which is to dispute restoring oil export matter, refining cost, and petrol producing from the oil fields in Kurdistan Region.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The member of the Economic Council of Iraqi Parliament, Ikhlas Sabah al-Dulaimi stated to Kurdistan 24, on Monday “it is expected that at the beginning of next week an Iraqi delegates chaired by the Iraqi Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani, to visit Kurdistan Region.

Al-Dulaimi gave further details about the purpose of that visit which is to dispute restoring oil export matter, refining cost, and petrol producing from the oil fields in Kurdistan Region.

This week has been quite significant in the capital city of Kurdistan Region, Erbil, after several events held, one of those milestone phases is the Iraqi Economic Council’ visit to KRG.

“Restoring the oil export from Kurdistan Region, has been one of the major elements discussed by both Economic Councils from the Kurdistan and Iraq. As well as the Minister of Oil’s visit to the region will be for sorting all the suspended issues between the Regional and Federal Governments” She added.

Regarding the issue of Kurdistan Regional employees’ monthly salaries, she confirmed through her words that has been sorted thoroughly, also delays won’t occur anymore “what delayed in the past few months were due to lack of cash which was whole problem in all over Iraq”

According to the sources at the Kurdistan Region Government, the Federal Government sent out almost 2 billion dinars for July month so far. However, it has been suspended by different excuses. Furthermore, a sum of 505 billion dinars has been transferred to the region for August month.

Yet, the Ministry of Finance and Economy at Kurdistan Reginal Government disclosed they didn’t send employees salary list to Baghdad.

The member of the Economic Council further revealed that the Iraqi Ministry of Finance continues to audit the July salary list of public sector’s employees, civil services and security forces in the Kurdistan Region, and she believed the remainder of the payment expected in the coming days.
