Erbil youth lead voluntary cleanup campaign in Citadel Market

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - Hundreds of young people from Erbil have launched a voluntary cleanup campaign in the Citadel Market, working in coordination with the Erbil Municipality Directorate and its field teams.
"Around 300 young volunteers are participating in the campaign, and all roads leading to the market have been temporarily closed to ensure its smooth execution," Ziyar Jalal, director of the Directorate of Services and Environment Protection in Erbil, told Kurdistan24 on Friday.
Jalal explained that a local volunteer initiated this campaign, and provided eleven tanker vehicles for the effort.
Teams from the Erbil Municipality Directorate and the Directorate of Services and Environment Protection in Erbil also provided all the necessary supplies.
