President Barzani welcomed French Ambassador to Iraq, Consul General in Erbil
Running the Parliamentary General Election in Kurdistan Region next October was another part of the discussion in the meeting.
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – According to a statement announced by Barzani's headquarters, that the French Ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Dorrell as well as Consul General in Erbil Yann Braem were welcomed by President Barzani, on Wednesday, in Pirmam.
They discussed the latest political changes and progression in Iraq and the whole zone, strengthen bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and France as well as the relations between Kurdistan Regional Government and Iraqi Federal Government was highlighted.
The two sides attached the importance to the economic forum held in Paris regarding the economic relations between the Kurdistan Region and France, the development of economic relations between the two countries was emphasized.
