ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Ministry of Interior at the Kurdistan Regional Government announced in a statement “to extend the 20% discount on the traffic fines until March 31st, 2025, it is for people’s benefit.
The Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani announced several decisions in Kurdish people’s welfare, on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, the decisions were made at a meeting by the Council of Ministers.
Prime Minister Masrour Barzani appointed the Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism to start allocating and granting piece of land to all employees who have not yet benefited from the government, in return for a small fee to finish off the allocation and registration procedure.
At the time, the Premier Masrour Barzani announced several other decisions regarding relevant ministries to apply these decisions, of which including:
%20 Discount on arrears in the electricity bills.
%20 Discount on arrears from traffic fines.
%50 Discount on meat importing fees.
%20 Discount on parallel study fees in public universities and institutes.
Penalty exempting from late Social Assured Contributions.
%20 Discount on arrears from water charges.
%20 Discount on council tax and fees, especially, tenants’ rent in the Ministry of Municipalities.
Exempting from the delayed tax penalties by the professionals, traders and the poor.
