Distributing refined oil-Kerosene in provinces, independent administrations

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Thursday “the amount of colorless refined oil distributed to residents in the highland areas and urban centers”

According to the statement, more than 25 million liters of refined and adjusted petrol (suitable for heating and cooking) have been distributed about 126,000 families, mostly in mountainous areas.

The volume of the refined and adjusted petrol (for heating and cooking use) required and distributed in the provinces and independent administrations:

Erbil

Required refined, suitable petrol for cooking and heating (Kerosene): 83 million 8 thousand barrels

Amount of refined petrol (Kerosene) distributed: 6 million 220 thousand 600 barrels

Number of families remaining: 383 thousand and 937 families

Sulaimani

Kerosene requirements: 103 million 8 thousand barrels

Amount of Kerosene distributed: 6.429 million barrels

Duhok

Refined and adjustable petrol required: 45 million barrels

Amount of refined, suitable petrol for cooking and heating distributed: 4.6 million barrels

Number of families remaining: 64 thousand 833 familiesOil distribution agents are required to sell 200 liters for 104 thousand dinars to each family in the provinces and independent administrations in the Kurdistan Region. The price of each barrel of oil is 100000 dinars, but 4000 dinars will be charged as the transportation fees.

Upon Prime Minister Masrour Barzani’s decision, on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, the Ministry of Natural Resources began distributing refined and adjustable petrol (Kerosene) in the mountainous areas and urban centers.
